I am Charles Carrington I have a bachelor's and Master's Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina A&T where I got my research background. I am former Division 1 Athlete and currently an IT manager in the Federal Government. And I am a small business owner. My main points of emphasis are these: • Bridging the gap between parents and educators so that we have collaboration and accountability • Developing our boys into men of sound character and making sure they don't fall through the cracks • Ensuring excellence in math, and literacy I believe from these three areas stem any particular issue that may be of concern All of this starts with Community. It is old and true wisdom that it takes a village to raise a child. We need to bridge the gap between the schoolhouse and the household.
